Unlock Alabama is a free, structured 8-week cohort platform and community for Alabama's next generation of builders and creators. Starting in May 2026, participants commit to shipping something real and public — whether that's an app, a prototype, a workflow automation, a product concept, a new business, or a creative project.

Backed by Innovation Portal, a nonprofit incubator and innovation hub accelerating startup growth in the Gulf Coast region, Unlock Alabama is on a mission to keep young talent in Alabama and empower builders of all backgrounds.
